“Peter and Archia did a major kitchen remodeling project for us in Duxbury MA. The project was done on time (and the schedule was very condensed), on budget and with great results. They were proactive in anticipating any issues and changes and made the project better then anticipated. They drove the punch list, coming by after the project on their own to tweak and tighten items and ensure that all was well. “I've had two jobs completed by Almar now, and both were done at a very high quality. The first was a makeover of the bathroom upstairs which had previously been a DIY tile operation by the previous owner which did not go well. The second job was repair and restoration of a large leak that we had in our porch into our basement. I would hire them again, and they were wonderful to do business with.”

“Kamp built a 2000sf in-law addition onto an existing 3600sf home. They perform much of the work with their own people and manage subs for contracted work. The project came out as good as we had hoped it would. Paul (owner) and Mark (onsite manager) make an excellent team. They listened to our requirements, made helpful suggestions and followed through to assure a quality product. The only thing I would fault them on was scheduling. The project took 6-7 weeks longer than expected. Some of that delay was caused because leads times on some items (cabinets, granite, etc.) were longer than expected and, had we known, we could have made our selections earlier in the process. (We were novices to construction projects and could have benefited from regular schedule reviews.) Overall, it has been a very positive experience and we would certainly recommend KAMP to anyone considering a build or remodel.”

“From design stage to finish this builder was professional, listened thoughtfully and worked with us until WE were satisfied with the finished work. Several misunderstandings occurred, but they presented no arguments or problems. Items were quickly remover and replaced to our satisfaction. We did not live in the immediate area where our new home was being built but this presented no problem. Emails & phone calls were returned promptly even on weekends. The quality of the materials used was top of the line and the millwork and hardwood is beautifully done. The workmen & women on site were always polite and courteous. Most importantly we had a written finish date in our contract that this fine tuned team came in on time with. It was a pleasure to work with this fine Company. Their reputation is well earned.”

“We could not recommend Arkins Construction more highly! Our project included salvaging parts of our old home to re-purpose into our new house. Arkins was with us every step of the way. From their subs to their crew they were professional. hard working, courteous, timely, and enjoyable to work with. They were exceptional at communicating with us throughout the process, primarily by e-mail and often by on-site meetings. When various construction options would arise they would often illustrate the choice by a picture or diagram attached to an e-mail, which made the decision much easier for us. We were happy start to finish and the result was a beautiful home that we will enjoy for many years to come.”
