“Can fully recommend Matthew and his firm. From start to finished they have exceeded our expectations, both in terms of the quality of the workmanship, and in terms of the attentiveness and flexibility as the project developed. We always felt that Aesir were working with us to achieve our vision. When we finally moved back into our completely extended and renovated home, it was pristine, immaculate and of a superb standard. After a couple of bad experiences in the past with contractors, our anxieties were soon put aside as Aesir reassuringly exceeded the terms of their contract to absorb all of the unforeseen difficulties and decisions we encountered along the way. “We added an orangery to extend our existing kitchen to create a large open plan room for kitchen, dining and seating. We chose Westbury mainly because we wanted a bespoke solution, they clearly had lots of experience of what does (and doesn't) work and they came up with designs that we really liked which brought to life and greatly improved our own half-baked ideas! We used Westbury to do everything....design, planning permission, building works (foundations, knocking through etc), building the orangery, installing underfloor central heating (including most of the plumbing), lighting and other electrics, internal floor tiling and they made and installed various bespoke fittings to help integrate the 'old' and 'new' areas into a single living space. We found all the Westbury staff to be friendly and professional and importantly they kept us well informed throughout. Most have been with the company for years and are passionate about doing a good job. Any building work always comes with an element of disruption and the real test of any firm is how they deal with the unforeseen issues that inevitably crop up - we didn't have many, but all were sorted promptly and professionally. Overall the whole design and build experience was a pleasure and the end result has exceeded our expectations.”

“Robin and his team are highly skilled and talented in all things related to wood and metal work and all things related to construction and refurbishments. They have fitted out our shop with oak shelves and cupboards and our customers are always impressed by the level of craftsmanship involved. This year they made a solid oak jewellery cabinet and metal and glass framed cabinet for the store. They have a very can do attitude and if any problems arise they are already there with a solution. If quality is what you need look no further.”

“One year on from the completion of our single-storey side-return extension (approx 58m2) including internal work. We now have a much improved well-insulated house with underfloor heating to the whole of the new extension. A large kitchen/dining area has been created with a large roof lantern over the island in the kitchen. Plus a super downstairs shower room with W/C and separate utility room with futuristic touch-screen boiler and electric flat opening roof above. Additionally we had a chimney breast removed from one of the bedrooms above. We are extremely pleased both with the high standard of work and attention to detail. We found Archie to be very approachable, quick to respond to any of our many and varied questions and would be happy to employ him in the future.”

“Rosewood Carpentry and Building Ltd have done two jobs for me over the last two years. The first one was building a timber framed Bungalow and the second was to rebuild a conservatory in Cedar wood. Both jobs were completed on time and on budget. The main reason I will continue to use Rosewood for any future work is their reliability and high levels of communications. They are a delight to deal with and if any problems did arise they were always sorted out to everyone's satisfaction.”
