“I could not recommend Michael enough! He designed the perfect house for us. From the very first phone call we knew we couldn’t have got anyone better. Very knowledgeable at what he does, great advice for us as we’re just starting out. No delay on anything planning process was very smooth without any bumps along the way. Thank you Michael and Niall for all your hard work.Ronan&Joanne”

“We worked with Josh to design and project manage an extension to our 1930s house in Dublin 7. It included demolishing our old kitchen and lean-to sheds, and building a new kitchen/dining room with a downstairs bathroom / utility room. Beforehand we visited several clients in the local area who had positive experiences with House Architects. The pricing structure was very clear. Josh was a pleasure to work with, and unflappable, which is always very reassuring. Once we had designs we were happy with, he worked to put the project out to tender and managed the relationship and the payments to the builder. This was the most valuable aspect for us. Particularly towards the end of the project, there were probably issues where we would have let the builder cut corners, but it was great to have Josh there to hold the line and ensure the project was completed to specification. We've been living with our extension for 18 months now and we're delighted with it - it's transformed the way we use the house and the garden.”

“We engaged BDA to plan a renovation and extension of a 1930s build 3 bed semi. The renovation and extension involved a complete gutting of the existing building, extending to the back and new insulation. Alan Burns was our architect for the duration of the project. He helped assemble our team of builder (AK Builders), engineer (Robert Barry) and energy consultant (Arthur O Donnell) for the project and were more than satisfied with the result. BDA presented us with several designs and once we agreed on a final design they ran the tendering process and vetted the winner. All aspects of the project were over seen to a considerable level of detail by BDA and we had weekly site meetings to go over progress and address changes. We also utilised their optional fixtures and fittings advice and were accompanied to various blinds, lighting, kitchen and bathroom showrooms by Alan. We found his to be one of the best features as we simply did not have the time or expertise to apply the level of practical consideration that Alan provided before choosing our kitchen and bathroom. Also having Alan on board at this level meant that the builder had all rooms ready and correctly measured up for the delivery of the fixtures. Alan was present at all times during the project either by email or phone and never once delayed in giving us assistance or advice when we needed it. Post project snags were address by the builder and BDA were also heavily involved in this part of the process, ensuring that the original spec was fully realised. I would have no hesitation I recommending Bright Design Architects to anyone requiring their services.”
