“In June of 2011, our 86 year old home was flooded from the top down in a surprise storm. We chose the wrong day to get a new roof! For four hours the sky dumped water into our house. The plaster ceilings were falling before the rain even stopped. Jay Fechtel and his amazing team were hired to put our house back together. It is far better than it ever was before. Their wise counsel provided guidance to renovate and improve the house. It looks amazing inside and out and is so much more functional and efficient. We are very thankful for their expertise and comforted, despite the loss of many of our personal belongings in the flood, that our house was preserved as a home and investment with great returns. In both cases, Don Strobel sat down with us to discuss the design of both projects, took time to discuss material options, and gave us a schedule regarding each step of the process. He listened to our expectations and assisted us in fine tuning the details that fit within our budget. Don Strobel's experience and knowledge was invaluable when finializing the details on both projects. Due to the fact that our house was built in the 1930's, adjustments were made as needed when structural issues arose. Don is hands-on and checks on the work of his workers/subcontractors on a continual basis. It is the expectation of Don Strobel that all workers/subcontractors are professional, courteous, efficient, and provide high quality workmanship. In addition, the area is cleaned after each day of construction. The front porch is beautiful and we have received many compliments by the neighbors. The kitchen rebuild/remodel (with approximately 3 weeks until finished) is exceeding our expectations. “They renovated our kitchen, and transformed it from tremendously outdated into a beautiful Midcentury Modern galley kitchen. We used white shaker upper cabinets and really dark base cabinets with a classic white quartz counter top. Its very simple and beautiful. The project was well within budget and the delivery was on time, despite the several changes WE introduced! I absolutely recommend them!”

“II had Mansouri Design LLC completely gut and remodel a home I bought in December 2020. This was right during the pandemic and when quality contractors were slim and few. Because of this, some things initially did not go well, Selim is a very solid individual. He was unwilling to accept poor performance from the contractors, and he had them redo anything that we did not deem as acceptable. We did not pay for any rework either. His staff has always been very friendly and quick to address any issues. Although our work together has been completed, for months, some of my appliances and a chandelier are not delivered. When I called Famous Tate's, they said not to worry because they still get a weekly call from Mansouri checking on my appliances. This is a quality company with a very skilled staff. I would recommend them highly to perform professional work at a reasonable price.”

“This is the second job that Rich Allen with Farrell Home Services has managed for us. Our kitchen, hopelessly out of date, inefficient and claustrophobic was in dire need of a remodel. Two walls were demolished, and a lowered ceiling with flourscent lighting with a fan in the center was removed and raised. The kitchen was extended approximately 5 feet, and opened to our great room. Old Jalousie windows were replaced as well. Design of the kitchen took a while, but Rich and his crew were patient as we made changes as the design took place. We wanted to be sure that it was the right design for the space and our needs. We were always given choices and issues with each were explained to us. The allowances we were given were always ample for the choices we had made as to material. The kitchen was ready to use in approximately 5 weeks. Rich's scheduling of subcontractors was excellent. We always knew who was coming and when, and in the correct order so when a job was sheduled it could be completed. He was always aware how difficult it is to live without a kitchen. The punch list was completed timely and to our satisfaction. The project was completed on time, and on budget. We have one other project that needs doing, and when we are ready, we will not hesitate to use Rich and Farrell Home services again.”
