“Traci & Todd were very easy to work with when they bought my parents home. Their professionalism went beyond anything my sister's and I expected. It was very difficult having to sell the house where we grew up and my parents lived for 51 years till they passed away. When they finished the remodeling project they held an "Open House" for the neighborhood and our families. We thought that was a great idea and nice jester. But, what WOW'd my sister's and I, was Traci & Todd invited the three of us to a private showing of the house we grew up in and shared so many family memories throughout the years. “This wonderful family firm cannot be beat for their design, professionalism, and the warmth they bring to a home when they are working on a project. All of their work is hand crafted word work of the highest quality. They custom built my living room as well as the deck off the back of my home, and the work is absolute perfection. “Rod Sidley designed and supervised the remodeling of our master bathroom. His design ideas enhanced the objectives we shared at our initial meeting, and he paid attention to subtle details that took our design concept from good to great. Rod respected my budget concerns, suggested price options for products, and updated the budget at key stages. He was an excellent communicator, keeping me informed of the weekly or daily schedule. Strathmore Construction was professional, courteous, and respectful of our home and daily life. The crew cleaned up at the end of each day and I had total confidence and trust in them. “We purchased a 1957 ranch house to accommodate the current and future needs of our 14 year-old daughter with Spina Bifida. She currently walks with orthotics, but will likely progress to using a wheelchair as she grows and wants to keep up with her peers. We gutted 3 bathrooms (on slab), rerouting plumbing in 2 and creating one accessible bath. Jeff DeVol is an aging in place specialist and helped us design an open shower with a linear drain and added blocking in the walls for additional grab bars in the future. We also widened openings, installed tile flooring, and removed some closets for a more open floor plan. Adding a ventless fireplace and converting a third garage bay to a weight room allowed the home to better meet our family's needs. DeVol's team was competent and courteous. The arrived on time and consulted us on every change that occurred in the field. We ended up with only a 1% cost overage in change orders, one item a lighting change at our request.”
