“We hired Tony and crew to design and execute a Post and Beam front porch using our own cherry harvested from our property. Tony chose the trees, harvested them , planed the beams , and designed and erected the most beautiful, elegant front entry we've ever seen or could have imagined. It has a simplicity that makes the most of the wood and complements the design of the house. His enthusiasm and craftmanship with the project was unparalleled in our experience.”

“Teakwood Builder remodeled my 140 year old house, and has since done several other projects, including exterior renovation and a new front porch. Their workmanship is very high and they come in on budget. (Sometimes not exactly on time...) They know a lot about old houses and they respect and love them. In other words, their solution isn't just to gut an old house and start from scratch. They work with the architectural details that are in your house and make it even more beautiful. Finally, if there are any problems or issues, they deal with them promptly. Really. I have bid other companies for projects, and they consistently are competitive. Given the quality of their workmanship and service, they are a very good value.”

“Jamaica Cottage Shop is awesome. We had a playhouse (Writers Haven) and a shed (Potting Shed), and both are extremely well built. They're very sturdy, and they delivered it to the exact spot we wanted. Our customer representative, Mindy, made sure we got everything we wanted for specifications. She let us customize the buildings so that they were exactly what we wanted! You can always check out pictures on their website.”

“The Davis Frame Company hosted a visit to Claremont, NH, where my wife and I stayed in their model home, toured their production facility, and were made to feel at home. In the design phase they were very responsive - they modified a stock design to suit our needs. During design and construction they were very available to our architect and subs. I was on the phone frequently with questions and problems - the hand-holding was extraordinary. The business side was clear and straightforward. All targets were met. There was no quibbling. Our house is complete and it is a stunner! The Davis frame is a house....and it's a work of art. If there were 7 stars I'd give them seven.”

“Project: Redesign small, 1970's era outdated galley kitchen to make more open/inviting/up to date. Dufour Design was selected after a thorough review process amongst other local contractors. Jamie stood out as someone with integrity and honesty, a willingness to work within a budget, and an ability to think "outside the box" for concept, design and efficient/responsible use of materials. Deadlines were met with effective communication of progress--this was especially important as we were not physically at the project during renovation. Superb craftsmanship and attention to detail. We are thrilled with the finished product, and would highly recommend Dufour Design.”
