“Drapery Guys worked hard to help us choose the right hardware and drapery for our sliding glass door. The fabric was the color and weight we wanted, letting in filtered light during the day and providing privacy at night. “I took my blinds to Dart for a string that was broken. I dropped them off at 8 a.m. and they were ready by 10 a.m. I had just purchased a house. The blinds probably had never been cleaned. Dart referred me to his brother Chris who cleans blinds. Chris came to our house one evening, removed all 14 sets of blinds in various sizes. Returned them all 2 days later nice & clean and installed them. Both brothers were very easy to deal with. Both were very courteous & punctual.”

“We have hunter Douglas blinds at home. 2 of them weren't working properly. We went to the blind spot in Rocklin and told us to to go to the repair center shop in downtown Roseville. The people was great, very kind and professional. Our blinds were fixed within 2 weeks an we weren't to pick them up our repair cost was 0 how amazing is that!!”

When choosing curtains, consider their function, whether for privacy, light blocking, or decor enhancement. Take into account the room’s style, choosing curtains that complement the overall decor in terms of colour, pattern, and fabric texture. Measure the window accurately to ensure the curtains are the right size and length, considering whether you prefer floor-length or sill-length curtains. Select curtain fabrics based on light-blocking abilities, durability, and ease of cleaning.
In general, your curtains width should be double the width of your windows. For length, this depends on if you want floor length, sill length curtains or below sill. For sill length curtains, they should sit 1cm above the windowsill. Below length curtains generally sit around 15cm under the sill. For floor length curtains, ensure there is at least a 1cm gap between them and the floor. If your window has a radiator underneath it, the curtains should stop around 2-3cm above the radiator to avoid heat being absorbed by the curtain.
Simply measure from where you want your blinds to start (the rail), to where you want your blinds to finish. Add 10-15 cms to this to prevent light bleed. To ensure your blinds fit correctly, take measurements at 3 equal points across your window and use the longest size.
