Very professional and able to salvage a job by others which had gone wrong. The owner of the company was great to work with, a very caring individual who brought in others to help with the work, (one in particular who diligently reset all the nails in the existing flooring). He sets very high standards and delivered the results we expected with a flexible and effective approach to the work. Delivered within the budget and time frames he promised.”

“Sound Hardwood flooring has installed the floors in two different houses I have owned in Port Townsend. The Owner Michael Morrow is very knowledgeable about all types of wood flooring and including bamboo flooring. I can't say enough about how he took me through the whole process of having wood floors from start to finish and yes flooring finish as well which becomes a big part of the floor. I learned so much about flooring that I will use in the future and have advised my family about flooring. If you want knowledgeable persons helping you through the process with over 30 years of experience I recommend you call Michael at Sound Hardwood Flooring. “As a flooring professional who worked with Mike Klein in the past I have no problem stating that he has the finest understanding of wood flooring in Western Canada. He is "old school" and a consumate professional in the business. His technical knowledge spans subfloor types, estimating, installation, sanding & finishing, finish types and applications, remedial work, repair and maintenance. Mike handles domestic and international species of hardwoods and engineered woods, domestic softwoods, cork and laminates. As well, he can supply specialty items such as distressed woods, aged woods, long and/or wide plank, inlays and medallions. Canada West is a small and personable company doing business in the finest tradition of wood flooring. When it comes to the detailed knowledge of wood flooring Mike's word goes.”
