“Matt at Elite Flooring made the floor side of our home remodel a stress free, enjoyable experience. Our French Oak floors were installed without a hitch and the crew was very professional. That type of service doesn’t typically come at the price point Matt gave us.”

“I LOVE this store! Everyone was so helpful in the selection process. I must have borrowed every sample in that store and even had them order more for me! When I finally decided on what I wanted, they helped to tailor it to my budget. The installation went smoothly. The husband/wife owners even came in to check on the progress themselves. I couldn't recommend this store highly enough. You won't be disappointed in them!”

“Chuck, David, and their team saved me from a nightmare scenario I found myself in by hiring the wrong contractors. The difference between Chuck's team and the shoddy contractors I hired was night and day. - Chuck came by nearly every day to check up on the work on the house. This is compared to the other guy I initially hired, who just came to collect my check, leaving me to deal with their shoddy subcontractors. - Chuck and David took the time to perfect the job - most importantly, the leveling. I had pretty janked up wooden subfloors that needed to be worked on. Dave and his crew of 5+ guys worked quickly and efficiently to float the entire area. Even if it meant more material and a higher cost on their end, they put in the extra effort to get the job done right. That's dedication! - David spent most of the time with the subfloor prep and leveling (the most important part of the job). If the contractors you hire are laying down flooring immediately after demoing the carpet...then that's a pretty bad sign. The first guys I hired had the "get in, get out" mentality and were doing just that. David, on the other hand, took an ample amount of time to vacuum, seal, prep and level the floors. I was amazed at the level of detail and perfection of David's work. - By the time I had to fire the first contractors, I left with mess. Chuck and David were kind enough to work with what they had left, even if it meant dealing with base boards that were not purchased through Chuck, or having to sort between good and damaged boards. - The manner in which David set up before working was impeccable. He had the appropriate tools for the job. He set up a vacuum to collect any dust from his saws, and had the plastics covering the walls to protect them from damage. The other guys I hired set their miter saw up next to my front yard, leaving loads of plastic debris all over my plants! Additionally, because David knew how to set up before each leg of the job, he was able to quickly and efficiently finish a job in just a few days. - The quality of materials they used were industry leading products. David used Bolstik SL-GYP for the leveling, along with the appropriate primer, and foam sealant. As a fellow homeowner, I urge others to take extreme caution in selecting who you decide to hire, and let touch your home. I've realized that there are a ton of shoddy contractors out there these days who look at these jobs as quick money-grabs. They'll do all they can to minimize the amount of labor, man-hours, and materials on their end, without caring much of the final product you're left with. It might be just a week's project for them, but your floors are something you have to deal with for 30+ years. Don't try to skimp on $2-5k to might cause a $100k problem down the line when you're trying to sell your home. Thank you, Chuck, David and Shane for the amazing job. I am excited to refer you guys to my neighbors and friends.”

“I can't rate this company high enough. We had Jon and Colton come out to do an estimate and appreciated their professionalism, knowledge, and price. They came highly recommend and they more than deserved that reputation. The project consisted of installing 1200sq feet of flooring and 33 stairs. The house was built in the 70's and thus there were some serious complications with the install that the team handled with ease. As a perfectionist I can be a bit (read: very) difficult to please, but these guys were up to the task. They definitely went above and beyond our expectations to ensure my wife and I loved every aspect of the completed project. They even offered to sand and stain some other stairs to match the ones we purchased (for free!). I just can't say enough good things about them. This is truly an A+ company and I highly recommend to anyone needing flooring services.”

“So this is my first review and normally I would yelp them but they were such an awesome company I wanted to let people know on houzz.com too !! We first found them using yelp and got 4 other bids to do all carpet in 3 bedroom. First off one guy was 15 minutes late, one guy never even got back to me and the others were high bids and it took days for them to get me a quote back. I'm a VERY impatient person !! So I thought great these people are going to be just as bad but I was so happy they weren't !! We were trying to hurry and sell the house in two weeks so we needed regular beige carpet ASAP...Paul the owner was awesome !! He not only showed up on time (A big deal to me) but he brought stuff to my house to look at and he was the cheapest with middle grade carpet !! Everyone else was higher and crappy plastic feel carpet. Then Paul decided to call in to get a quote with me RIGHT there!! AWESOME ! I didn't have to waste more days waiting. So needless to say we went with them and actually ....that was our fist time. LOL...our second time I got his son and same thing....on time, brought samples and gave me a quote right there. We didn't even get bids from anyone else. So after we fixed up our house to sell we loved it. =D Actually I told him I needed hardwood ASAP (I know...poor guys hahaha) because my mother in law in coming in 3 days and the carpet now stinks thanks to 2 old dogs. He laughed and see let me see what I can do...then 2 days later they put in the hardwood in 2 hours !! N I C E !! We only did one room but we'll be hiring them again for our other 2 rooms. Yes....they are that awesome !!”

“There are flooring stores everywhere! The hard part of shopping is finding a company that has a reputation for taking care of customers and offer quality product at reasonable prices. We had a nightmare of a situation about 2 years ago. We searched everywhere for flooring and finally found a place with flooring we liked, we felt it was a fair price for it, so we made the purchase and used their installers to put it in. Fast forward 10 months later, we came home from work one day and could not open the front or back door. The flooring had "barreled" upward and blocked the doorways. This was a solid wood floor that was specifically to be glued down. Immediately we found that the flooring was installed improperly and the store that sold it to us said it was our fault and that we had misused the flooring. Ridiculous. Keeping it brief we took them to small claims court and easily won a refund, but only on the flooring cost, you never get the labor costs back. Fast forward again (the case took 8 months!) and during the case we began searching for a flooring store that could take care of the task of installing correctly, and standing behind their product. Silly us, we overlooked that Action Flooring and Carpet was only a mile away from our home. While getting a car wash next door we walked in and me Dave and Kany (Kenny). We filled them in on what we were going through with a competitor and just as you'd think they were blown away that a customer would be treated this way. We made a point of telling them that the affordability of paying for floors out of pocked without the payment from the small claims case was going to be a challenge for us. At no point did either of them push to close a sale on us. They knew that when we were ready we'd let them know, and we did. We chose beautiful distressed flooring for our casual beachy home. The guys were organized, clean, and in a day and a half correctly installed the nicest flooring we've ever seen in any of our homes. Kany checked in with us a day after to make sure everything looked good and we were happy, but more important he checked in a couple months later to make sure everything was holding up, that the quality of the installation was good, and that we were totally satisfied. I was really impressed with their approach to after the sale and have even added it to my work to make sure our customers know how important it is to keep tabs on the quality of product and service. Outstanding job, and not only would recommend people use them, but have already referred several friends and customers their way, and guess what? They're beyond happy with Action Carpet and Floor too! thank you to Dave and Kany for making our experience a great one!”
