“Vermont Plank provided absolutely beautiful flooring for our New Hampshire vacation home. They recommended the perfect species to use, provided samples of couple different species to be sure we chose a great floor, and even increased the width of our planks to 7" from 5" for the same price because their internal stock was available. I highly recommend working with them. It's pricier than your choices at the basic home renovation stores, but well worth it for the long-lasting beauty. Plus, if you're local to New England, you're supporting a local business - an important factor for my family.”

“I bought my tile here for three reasons; they are in my neighborhood, the price was better than the very same tile elsewhere, and they promote planet-friendly products. I did not originally contract with Earth First to install the tile, however, as my general contractor said he was really good with tile and enjoyed installing it. (t turned out that my general could not install the tile, after all, and offered me a credit to have someone else do it, I went back to Earth First to see if they could rescue me. And rescue they did. They quickly put together a team who could do it immediately -- for less money than the general offered to get out of it. All three of the people they sent were a delight to have in the house, took pride in their work, coordinated with each other, and provided quality tile work I that makes me smile every time I walk into the room. The man who installed the toilet said he thinks it is the best-looking bathroom in town. (Not the fanciest, mind you! ) Would I use Earth First again? Already did. Had them back to refinish a wood floor. Different people, but the same results. Reasonable price, prompt, took pride in their work, and I get compliments on the floor.”

“The folks at Bennington House of Tile - a family owned business - are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They know their extensive product line well, and are prepared to answer questions about application, and design of their products. The store carries an incredible array of high end tile, carpet and wood flooring to choose from and can order almost anything you have in mind. Once you have chosen your product, a qualified staff person comes to your home to do accurate and complete measurements to provide you with an estimate of cost, which has proven to be quite accurate the many times I have used their services. If you do not have an installer already lined up for tiling, they have a list of qualified local craftsman to recommend. Truly an outstanding level of service unmatched by big box stores!”

“I worked with Mark and Traditional Wood Floors for my recent home renovation. I did a massive renovation and brought everything down to the studs and rebuilt. Mark helped me with my wood floors throughout a three story 2,800 sq ft home. I explained I wanted a more unique look with the hand scraped wood floors and Mark was able to provide me with many options and help me choose colors and type of wood. I found Mark to be extremely knowledgable and guided me towards what would be best for my growing family's lifestyle. Mark also helped us stay on budget and was able to work with me to re-coup money after the project was completed by helping me sell any leftover product! I'm thrilled with how my floors turned out and have to say that Mark was one of the most polite, easy to work with sub-contractors that I worked its throughout my entire renovation! I've added a few pics from the slightly unfinished project...I'll add a few more focusing in the floors shortly.”

“We first encountered Mike Abatiello when we were looking for hardwood floors for our three bedrooms. Because they did such a good job, our contractor hired them to tile our bathroom and lay a cork floor. Most recently, they supplied the tile to completely renovate our wood fireplace into a gas stove. The African slate we used was tile we had admired every time we went into their showroom for two year. We have always been pleased with the products carried by Abatiello and happy with their work. I look forward to working with them again.”
