“We purchased much of our new furniture from Sandpoint Furniture at Ponderay Design Center and also the blinds a few of our windows. They were two great facilities with professional and terrific people to work with. They went out of their way to take care of us and worked really well with our designer - not leaving her out of the decision process or acting like she was in the way of them gaining our business, something we did experience in other stores. The selection of furniture at Sandpoint Furniture was terrific. They had plenty that fit our style and once Clint Gunter understood what we were looking for he really made an effort to find new things for us. He went way beyond to find us a matching chair for our great room for a style that was no longer in production. Their prices were very competitive which was very helpful and kept us local for the majority of our needs. They were very respectful when we didn't find something and had to source it at another store. When we were looking at blinds, Annie Nye at the design center was very helpful. She knew the products well and offered a great selection of fabrics and function. When we decided to hang drapes on the bedroom and sliding glass doors, she was respectful and offered to have her installer hang the rods for us. He ended up being a great craftsman who is also building some shelves for our wine room and has done a few other projects. It is local companies like this one that make us happy we moved here. Having the benefit of great selection and prices are just that much better!”
