I needed the same type of work with the addition of some crown, base and architectural casing installed. Showed me good communication, punctuality as well as craftmenship. One of the staff designed and installed a beatiful detailed mantel. Not in original contract, by the way. “We were introduced to carpentry unlimited after hurricane sandy for a garage rebuild. We had been working with another builder for a while, but we were stalled out in the construction process due to permits,etc. We decided to call other local builders to try and get the rebuild done ASAP before the winter. Doug and Bruce were able to quickly get the project up and running. Carpentry unlimited has been in business for many years and therefore is known in the area and this fact made the entire building process so much easier for us. They knew who to call and when, which was key to getting the rebuild approved. The price was fair and their workers are efficient and neat and do great work. They were flexible with making some changes as the construction was taking place and were in constant contact with us regarding updates in deliveries of supplies. Our garage came out great and they are now working on updates on the rest of our house including windows and siding, and have already completed a great new front porch for us. He focuses closely on the clients needs and budget and does not take the job just to make money. Christopher is a true partner when it comes to home renovation. He is a great carpenter for small home repairs and a fair GC for larger jobs. He may be a sole proprietor with a small crew, but he gets the job done. He has done a variety of small and large jobs for us including crown moulding, general carpentry, repair, and a full bathroom renovation. He is also familiar with the claims handling process for home insurance, should the repair need be the result of a claim.”
