“Just delighted to work with another client at Vartanian yesterday. This is a family-run business and you really feel the difference. The welcome is warm and the showroom is a comfortable place to spread out and get work done. Staff are all helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely a client-focussed, can-do attitude here. Being a color specialist, I am happy to learn that Vartanian does custom colors using the Benjamin Moore palette....thousands of color to choose from! Right now, with painted kitchens being extremely popular, this gives us so much more than the "stock plus" colors offered everywhere else. I've already written to another client about finally being able to find the "green of her dreams" for her new kitchen.”

“Delfs Haven Designs took a very old table of ours and made it look like it was a "brand new" old table !!! Work was finished in a few days... Quick, friendly, and quality service with an excellent price for the work done ! I 5 star recommend Delfs Haven Designs.”

“Hands down the best tradesmen we dealt with on our Kitchen addition. Chip and Justin design and construct the most beautiful and reasonably priced cabinets in Connecticut. These guys should be the model of for others dealing with and providing the 'homeowner" with what they expect and pay for. Don't believe me, have them do your cabinets and report back if your not thrilled with the final product, we were!!! Best, JK (CT)”

“I can't say enough good things about working with Mantelpeace (Tom O'Brien and his team). They have done a variety of projects on our house, from upgrading a bathroom to a major kitchen remodel and finishing an unfinished attic (which included building a staircase). For the attic, they worked with an architect, and for the kitchen, Tom worked with us to design the new space. In both cases, everything went smoothly and we were very happy with the results -- from the major construction to the small details. What you are getting with Mantelpeace is artistry and attention to detail -- we have beautiful cabinets and shelving in our house that is unique, fits our space perfectly, and is solid and well-made. This is not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for, and they are certainly able to work with your budget. They are also committed to building in an environmentally-friendly way, which is important to us. And they are very pleasant to have around the house, which is important when you're having a huge project done while still living in the house!”

“Derek constructed new front steps for my 100+ year old home. I LOVE my new steps. He did an awesome job. Very professional, on time for renovation, kept to the budget. Gave me fantastic ideas and variations of the steps. He did such a great job that I had him refinish my back porch with blue stone steps and railing. I'm planning on using Derek in the near future.”

“We had Steve build us two cabinets for our living room. They are perfect. Even though the walls were not plumb, he was able to make them in such a way that they fit wonderfully. “Leon & John constructed and installed a 7 foot long floor to ceiling shelving unit with sliding doors. Wall unit was built with 2 foot wide broom closet on one end with doors and upper cabinet. We also replaced our 8 foot long kitchen island. They improvised and met every request plus more, ie taller island, custom grooves so their is no hardware on drawers etc. I am so grateful to have a crafted in the USA maple over wood. I often run my fingers over the perfectly joined sections when walking by or utilizing sliding drawers. Job came in on time, on budget, good communications during project and my wife said she was happy the way they cleaned up daily.”
