“iI just completed a job with John Dean Custom Cabinetry. The quality, design and customer service was supurb. The work was done promptly and price was very competitive and worth every penny. There were no compromises, a couple gliches occurred but were promptly remedied so the result was exactly what I wanted. Two years ago I did a kitchen with another company at a second home and glitches were solved with compromised solutions. It was a company supplying stock (high end-Chrystal) cabinets. I discovered this is a big advantage of working with custom cabinets. I was very happy with my choice of JD I would recommend them highly to anyone. Edward Molyneaux”

“Had a complete kitchen overhaul. New cabinets - layout- appliances etc. Fantastic company to deal with from the owner Alex - down to Amanda in the office. They have master craftsmen who do their install. My kitchen had quite a few challenges with beams and crown moldings. I don't know what was better the price ( which came in $12,000 cheaper than any other kitchen company for custom cabinetry! ) or the professional install. Highly recommend!!”

“Custom Cabinets. Mike built an amazing custom wardrobe for our bedroom and it is just beautiful. Mike was so easy to work with and designed the unit to meet our storage and design needs all within our budget. We are now contemplating having a Entertainment Center w/ Shelving built to house our TV and electronics in our family room. Custom pieces are fairly expensive, but they add so much value to the home and solve so many storage and design issues. We are very happy with the results.”

“Hands down the best tradesmen we dealt with on our Kitchen addition. Chip and Justin design and construct the most beautiful and reasonably priced cabinets in Connecticut. These guys should be the model of for others dealing with and providing the 'homeowner" with what they expect and pay for. Don't believe me, have them do your cabinets and report back if your not thrilled with the final product, we were!!! Best, JK (CT)”

“Great, great, great!! Michael Marion of Custom Wood Design is a true artisan. Michael's custom cabinets are truly custom from the boxes to the doors, to every last molding. Michael has mastered styles from traditional to modern and can stain and glaze a cabinet or book-match the most beautiful wood veneers. All you need to do is share your vision, a plan, or a photo with Michael,and he will create your vision. In my own home, he has created a beautiful fireplace wall, two desks, an entertainment center, bookcases flanking a window seat with drawers below, a very detailed, painted, stained and glazed transitional kitchen, a modern bath with bamboo cabinets, and a beautiful set of closet doors with antique mirrored glass inlay. Michael is a true perfectionist and is a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Michael without hesitation and look forward to doing yet another project with him!”
