“I have worked with Warnock Studios on several projects over the past twenty years. The first project was my home in Miami, Fl. The team created beautiful authentic Venetian plaster walls as well as faux effects throughout the house. That home won several design awards as was featured in magazines. We later bought a summer home in N Carolina and I wanted to create a special effect on the ceiling in a room for my husband. We decided on an antique world map. After taking careful measurements, the map was painted onto a canvass in the studio and then brought to the house for installation --- a perfect fit with a big impact and a favorite feature in the house. When we moved to central Florida to a home with a small powder room with a curved wall, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I called Tom (Warnock) and presented a big challenge. I asked him and his team to re-create Ingres Grande Odalisque on the curved wall ceiling to floor. After diligent research and meticulous planning, they met the challenge. The image was painted onto canvass in the studio and then brought to the site for installation. It is spectacular! Tom Warnick is a true professional and his team is comprised of very talented artists and artisans who take great pride in their work and pay attention to the smallest of details.
