“What can I say about Josh, well, many things, but here is the nails and wood of who he is as a professional...My partner and I recently hired him to design a water facing home. He jumped right to work in meeting us at the property to check it out. He provided a very reasonable quote for his services. And then the design services began...he is so prompt in his work, he is versed in understanding and will guide you in the permit, contracting, and engineering aspects as well. “Mike at Premium was a tremendous help in the complete renovation and remodelling of several properties in Victoria. His expertise and knowledge of both the design and construction of a complex project like these helped make them all successful. There were many design decisions that were needed to maximize the usability of the space, as we transferred many of the properties into highly desirable rental suites. Our tenants loved the final designs. Mike's expertise about the the full project scope (design, permits, construction, market) prevented us from making costly mistakes, while also enhancing the properties in their completed state. We will continue to work with Mike, and can't recommend him enough. The projects that we completed with Mike yielded properties that were instantly rented to long term tenants.”

“We are currently mid project with Ryan. He is skilled not only at translating our concepts into pleasing design but just as important his communication skills are excellent. Ryan is definitely a respectful, talented team player. We discovered Ryan Hoyt Designs and Ardmore Construction through a friends who had them design and build their custom home. It was done with attention to detail and workmanship ; just what we wanted in designing and building our home. Phase 1 the shop/barn/office is almost complete. Phase 2 is our home, and I'm sure we'll have more to say as this progresses.”

“We used Lindberg and Smith for two projects and were extremely happy with the process and results. They were very professional and competent and extremely easy to work with from start to finish. Our second project with them was quite large. They effectively handled the complex work and total site design while keeping track of many, many details that made each piece of the project an exquisite success. Throughout the project they were creative, great listeners, and adaptive to evolving requirements. We appreciate their deep sense of "Northwest" style and the easy, responsive way they work. They also helped us select a great construction outfit which effectively delivered our mutual vision. L&S was very effective at designing to budget and in keeping their fees in line with the original estimate. I would gladly work with them again. They have my strongest recommendation. “Having built two homes before, we were impressed with what Step One Design had to offer and commissioned Mike to draw up the plans for our current home. Mike arranged to meet with us at our lot, listened to our ideas and offered feedback and suggestions to come up with a plan that fit us perfectly based on our wants and needs. He was accessible, easy to communicate with and provided the plans on schedule. Step one Design brought together our vision while paying attention to practicality, finances and the aesthetics of the home. “We would highly recommend Stig Carlson as an architect for your project because he listens to our ideas, he understands that this will be our home, not just his design. Stig has the unique ability to diffuse a situation where the individuals disagree on a particular issue, to move beyond this point until the two have had an opportunity to discuss their views and then later he will remember to readdress this issue. Stig manages to keep the project moving forward when dealing with county officials who give vague guidelines by requesting specific details of what they will and will not accept. He is an effective advocate for your project and provides an excellent set of drawings for you and your builder to help eliminate unexpected costly and time consuming change orders His kind and gentle manner is well suited for any client, yet strength and knowledge arm him for county regulatory rhetoric.
