“We have worked with Patricia Brennan Architects on 4 different projects of varying scale - from a kitchen/bathroom remodel to the transformation of a 4-story derelict warehouse into an AIA award winning building of artist live/work spaces. Each experience has left us with a deep appreciation for the work she does and how she does it. Patricia listens closely - she listens to the physical space of the project and she listens to the desires and needs of her clients. She engages in a collaborative dialogue at the outset of a project and continues the dialogue until the project is complete. She has an amazing sense of color, a wide range of knowledge about all kinds of materials (from lighting to flooring and everything in between) and she provides recommendations for high quality professionals and reliable contractors. She’s attentive to detail, to budget, to practical problem solving and to the aesthetics, flow and functionality of a space. Each project we’ve done with Patricia has exceeded our hopes and left us with living spaces we love to be in. “The team at FabCab consists of a group of young and very talented professionals who all work to design and deliver a beautiful, green, timberframe home. The results are stunning! FabCab worked with us from start to finish, offering custom floorplan design expertise, interior design consultation, and even recommendations for the Contractor, Jim Hall, that we ended up choosing. The "package" we purchased made decisions so much easier than other traditional construction, where the universe of choices can be paralyzing. Along the way we were given suggestions about appliances, carpet, flooring, etc. that were compatible with the style we had chosen. Although we were free to choose totally different interior components, we stayed mostly within the recommendations because they were great options, and because it helped us keep within our budget. We ended up with a 1440 sq. ft. home that seems larger than our previous 2100 sq. ft. home, and we are thrilled with the finished product.”

“I am so pleased with the work the Refine Design architecture team has delivered for our home remodel. We bought a funky 1940s house that needs a ton of love and work. At first, it was quite overwhelming to not know the possibilities of the home and what could modernize it but also maintain some of the original factors that we love. We had a couple of ideas when we sat down with the team and they not only helped bring our vision to life, but offered different ideas and a point of view we had not thought of. I highly recommend this duo - they are incredibly easy to work with and passionate about what they do. Thank you both for your help with our home!”

“We so appreciated Rogers skill and creativity in both projects; his eye for detail and design are exceptional. Start of construction was July 30, 2015 and occupancy permit by March 9, 2016! Construction cost came in under estimate. We love this house and the way it sets on our site, with views of the Lake/River from first floor bedroom, kitchen, dining and family room; and second floor two bedrooms also have views. Kitchen has cherry custom cabinets and granite counter tops. Kitchen window to East has a view of the wooded hillside, and the daily turkey and deer processions going down to the Lake for a drink. “I was looking for someone deeply experienced in technical domains, (architecture, construction, and fabrication) to fit the requirements of my custom home, the Galer Street House. Thomas was tasked with production of the interior custom cabinetry and associated custom woodworking. From our first meeting, Thomas’s communication, experience and broad background gave me confidence that he would understand the complex geometries and be able to deliver the high-end quality needed for this application. From the custom handmade walnut cabinets, custom furniture-like features and being always available to help me when the details needed his attention, he delivered. I was not disappointed. In addition, when challenged by architectural details and budget constraints on the exterior of the home, Thomas, owner of Studio Walker Architects, Inc., was able to take a large burden off my shoulders with his durable design/build approach, which was substantially less expensive and also resulted in a better overall appearance. Thanks, Thomas!”

“We hired Group Architect for our major remodel/2nd story addition of our mid-century modern home and worked with the two owners, Brian and Scott. We were extremely impressed by their knowledge of building codes (our house is in an ECA zone), design and material ideas, communication skills (with ourselves and our contractor) and professional manner. They were very responsive to our ideas, requests and many questions. It was very important to Brian, Scott and ourselves that the completed home maintain some of its original character and style and not look like it was an add on, while adding many modern elements. The project was a huge success. We would highly recommend Group Architect.”

“Alev Seymen was our Project Manager, working for Castanes Architects, whom we chose for our new home design. During the development period, Alev provided us with many ideas and details of our design. Throughout the development and construction phase, she was sure to see that the design details were fully executed, always communicating her ideas and incorporating our ideas as well. Today after living in our home for several years, we are still in awe of the many details she designed and brought to us. Our home was recognized in Luxe magazine, Spring 2012 issue as well as Pacific NW magazine, May 12, 2013. Working with Alev was a pleasure and a wonderful experience. She is exceptional. Alev has an incredible eye for design and details and was outstanding to work with.”
