“David's architectural and Ashley's design services are second to none. My wife and I started out with a big challenge for David (to turn the eyesore of the neighborhood into a place that we would be happy to call home), and he rose to the occasion and then some. The work product was second-to-none, and we keep coming back with new projects whenever we have a need. Ashley was a delight to work with as we gutted our living/dining/kitchen area, and she helped us create a space that our family loves to spend time in. “B + O design studio coached us while designing our green forever home. They led us through the process of figuring out exactly what we wanted in our new home. They helped us to think through the space, flow, comfort, orientation, lot characteristics, native landscaping, etc. The end result was a home we love! We can't think of anything we would have done differently with the house or the process! Highly recommend!”

“Ian Johnston has done an excellent job of designing and serving as the on -going architect for a project at our beach community. This project is now in its 4th and final year, covering 8 condominium buildings. His architecture drawings were thorough and were the basis for contractor bidding; He remained involved to inspect the stages of completion in each building. He participated in a process where he met with the facility manager and the general contractor project manager weekly. This enabled the establishment of a punch list each week of items to be resolved and ensure that a high level of quality was maintained throughout the project.”

And from that moment on he led us through a series of discussions that he used to create a design for our home and land that was more than we could have ever dreamed or imagined. We wanted it to feel like an old, well-loved farmhouse, a place of welcome refuge - where there was space for everyone but not cavernous - and we were starting with an empty field as the canvas. His attention to detail was so impressive - every single aspect of his design was drawn with great purpose. “We hired Mr. Herring to design a 5,000+ square foot home on the ICW. That project took place in 2000-2001. Mr. Herring had a unique capacity to "read our minds" as we moved along during the design stage such that the home became everything we wished for in our dreams. He was a fantastic on-the- spot architectural supervisor, holding the crew to the mission while gaining their respect along the way. The final product was fantastic.
