“Michael Bird is a very talented and knowledgeable Architect specializing in Adirondack style homes. He designed our home and garage, obtained all permits, hired top contractors and supervised the entire construction and landscape project. The finished product is amazing. His attention to detail is impeccable. He and his staff are a pleasure to work with. They kept us up to date with progress reports and photos and met all deadlines. We are so very happy with the way our home turned out and would highly recommend Michael Bird and Adirondack Design. We will be working with Michael in the Spring of 2014 on a boathouse.”

“5 or 6 years we made a decision to relocate to Vermont and build. We interviewed several designers/architects and almost instantly had connection with Ray, he seemed to be what we needed. Our process was a long one, but Ray stuck with us. We stopped the project after for a while after we started with Ray and wasn't sure we'd come back. After a year or so we knew we wanted to jump back in. Ray picked us back up immediately. His attention to detail you'll find unmatched. He is great at suggestions and also adapting to his clients ideas. Soon after we started back we lost our builder. He helped us set up interviews and select a new builder. We started back up at the beginning of the covid pandemic , but Ray worked with us and we managed to visit door/window, flooring, countertops and cabinet vendors with his assistance. he was with us every step of the way. We were lucky to get one of the better builders in upper Vermont and he was very complimentary of Ray's attention to detail and guidance. Ray saw the project to its completion. We've been in over a year now and could not be happier with our finished product.”

“Paul is able to creat what you want, not what he wants. He listens to your ideas, & then creates it. He doesn't make you put a signature item in to show its his work. He has a keen eye for natural light, functionality, & usability. If you want incredible he's done it, if you want stupid simple it's not a problem. “Doug Viehmann designed our Adirondack style house on Lake Champlain a number of years ago. Doug was very pleasant to deal with. He was soothing during the high stress times of construction and was very practical with his ideas. Change always occurs with a custom design and Doug responded quickly to our ideas. We felt that we worked very well together with Doug. We have kept in communication over the years since our project was completed about the house and other architectural issues and Doug has always been there to provide his insight and opinion. We would highly recommend him for residential design.”
