“I had an entire book of pictures of the type of house I wanted to build and had worked with a wonderful draftsman who laid out the house. We knew that we needed someone to help with the complicated roofline and the outside of the house and had friend who had John as the architect for their unique home. John helped us to translate my ideas into a picture perfect home. He laid out the complicated roofline, created a design for the outside of the home which captured the "lodge" look, including a signature window design, saved me from over and under estimating the size of rooms, created a unique yet wonderful floor plan. The home is both grand and intimate. He reminded me that there are three elements: size, detail, and cost.....and that I only got to have 2 of them! That helped a lot in the design and choice process. John is a gem...keen eye, sharp mind, both an artist and architect.”
