“We LOVE working with Meredith! We have done two home projects with her and both times she exhibited the care and artistry we value in a home improvement job. She has a taste and sophistication level that was totally unlike any contractors with whom we worked. She also has the overall experience and outcome in mind ie she takes into account price, availability, design and function. Perhaps that is the quality I appreciated most in our interactions, as she would have a 360 view into the decisions we made and was extremely helpful into guiding an amorphous vision (with us as completely untrained clients) into something our family can use and love every day. She has the language and knowledge to work with all subcontractors and she takes into account aesthetic, indoor and outdoor sustainability as well as an attention to detail we both lacked and needed. “Elliott Brainard is an exceptional Architect for Mountain Building specifically! He was an integral player in the design of our 4,300 sq ft. custom home in Mammoth Lakes, CA. He not only Listened to our wishes for building our Dream Home but was on top of and helped us thru the layout to maximize our Views. He explained all points of building in the mountains including "Snow Load, Earthquake codes, City codes, where to cut costs as needed - etc. He was always Available - complete with building a model to scale for our review. We would Highly Recommend him for anyone doing a New Build or Remodel !!!”

“Stephen LaDyne designed and built several projects for my over-painted largely ignored 1919 Craftsman cottage. Whether a major remodel (the whole backside of our house was extended to add a lovely window-wrapped dining room and yoga studio/office) or a small improvement (a horrible basement stairway was rebuilt and now even has gallery space for my photographs), Stephen's skill and insight brought out the charm of this old house. His communication skills make working with him a pleasure!”
