“After finding him on Yelp with good reviews, we had BVM design a 655 sq. ft. residence that incorporated a pre existing building. He was responsive to emails and calls and gave us a surprising number of designs. He was able to give us exactly what we wanted, despite our ideas being communicated rather poorly over the many many interruptions of small children. It was not cheap, but I don't really know what others charge. Also, when our general contractor saw the plans he said "boy, this guy knows how to draw!!" Overall, he was really easy to work with, gave us exactly what we wanted, and impressed other professionals in his field. What more could you want??”

“I hired Gerald to design our home in Pacific Beach in 2010 and could not be more excited about it, even to this day. He took a chopped up 1970s beater and turned it into the coolest house that I have ever lived in. The flow was amazing and it felt so much bigger when he was done. He also out in design elements that I NEVER thought we could afford, making the house look really high end and super custom when he was done. We ended up getting an unsolicited offer on it and selling it in 2013 (for a huge profit) but that house is for sure my favorite to date. When I buy again, it will 100% be with Gerald's input and the reno willl be his design!”
