Doug Reynolds is an exceptionally creative architect who is able to transform dreams into reality, and is very responsive to a client's needs and wishes. His Construction Manager is highly organized with a strong attention to detail, who has a natural instinct for helping select the perfect materials and products for the job, is very effective in making things happen, and is a delight to work with. His staff are all extremely professional, helpful, responsive, and really, really nice people. Their ability to meet deadlines and stay on budgets is excellent, and communication is superb. “Michael Menn designed and constructed with the help of his experienced pool of subcontractors the kitchen of my dreams in an older home that I love for both its tradition and its memories. It is a pleasure for me to come down in the morning to a space so much in keeping with the style of our home and offering me at the same time all that is in modo contemporary for the our time. Michael Menn is a gentleman who honors his word amd his contractural agreements. He was always available to me and responded promptly to any and all concerns or questions that I may have had. Michael is in addition someone with whom one could easily make a lasting friendship. “Architectural design of our home. He designed the home, all the layout and configuration and did all the construction drawings. He put our desires into focus and into the design of our home. Outstanding ability to translate our concepts into structure and to implement the design concept into an actual structure that meets all tests. Always available to address any construction design or implementation issues. Works conceptually and practically with the entire build team, designer, builder and all contractors to implement all features without negatively affecting the resultant design and features. The house was under construction for three years. He visited the house on his own at least monthly; spoke to us or met us regularly and met with our builder and interior designer regularly all to insure that it was being built properly.”

“The architect was faced with a very difficult challenge, to take a 100 year old clapboard house that was 1200 square feet in area and transform it into a 1800 square foot house with an open floor design all while preserving the historical character of the residence. An exceptionally clever design was employed that resulted in what is considered one of the most outstanding homes in Ann Arbor. We could not have been happier with the result.”
