“Working with Studio M and Marie Marx in particular was a joy from beginning to end . Marie oversaw a significant project including a complete kitchen renovation and addition to second story to transform a small master bedroom into a master suite complete with a sitting room, dressing room and high end four piece ensuite. Marie designed the changes, drew the plans, obtained the building permit, hired the contractor, oversaw the construction, chose the materials and finally completed the interior design. Amazing professional. Considering the size and scope of the project, there were very few glitches and Marie adeptly handled any that did arise. One year later we still love the renovation and would change nothing. I cannot recommend Studio M highly enough to anyone looking to work with a skilled, talented professional with a keen sense of design.”

“Our initial meetings with Graham were productive. He worked with our original sketches and produced a quick working budget for us. He was well versed with the regions bylaws and compliance issues and had an extensive understanding of heritage properties. Changes in financial circumstance have put a hold on our project but we know others who have since had excellent experiences with Graham and who too recommend him for large and small scale renovations. “Oh my gosh! I was absolutely thrilled with the service Aka Architecture provided me for my dream loft apartment - a third story renovation in a Queen Anne Victorian Building, where I also run my business. The mixed use of my building made this project very tricky logistically. However, Aka Architecture handled the permit logistics amazingly, with outstanding professional communication between myself as the owner and my City's Building Department for a smooth ride to an official permit. As for the design itself...Wow! Gorgeous! The apartment design is sheik and modern, keeping to my original vision of a dream living space, while magically maintaining much of the historic prestige of the exterior. Aka Architecture also kept the entire project from start to finish within the range of my original budget. Amazing! Aka succeeded in superseding all my expectations on every aspect of the job. Thus, Aka comes highly recommended by me to you! Do not hesitate to give them a call. You will not be disappointed. In fact, I think you will be as satisfied and fulfilled as I was! All the Best! “We did a massive renovation to our bungalow adding a second storey with a complete overhaul to the first floor. Working with Ljuba made the experience so much better! Her prompt responses, timely delivery and willingness to share her thoughts throughout the process was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We are super in love with our new home and the design created by Ljuba is highly functional! We definitely recommend working with Lush Design Studio!”
