“I highly recommend Lisa Albers, who designed my master bathroom. This was not a simple remodel project -- she helped transform an enclosed unheated porch into a master bathroom. Lisa’s expertise took the bathroom plan from nice to exceptional. Lisa understood my personal taste, explained suggestions and was a collaborative problem solver. Hiring a professional was such a good investment. Lisa took much of the stress out of making so many decisions, selecting the tile alone would have been daunting, with Lisa’s expertise she made this decision enjoyable. Lisa was very accessible and made time to meet in person and responded quickly to questions. I certainly will use Lisa on future projects and already have recommended her services to family and friends.”

“We worked with Paul on an addition and complete internal re-do - bigger kitchen, bigger master bedroom. Paul is a good listener, honest, and genuine person. We ended up buying a house and he refunded the unused portion of our "retainer". From the beginning he is comfortable to work with and what he says, he does. I kind of hate to have found a house because I know he'd work wonders.”

She is the rare combination of practical problem solving, experience and actual design talent – the spark, the touch, the eye – that design-and-build combo operations can never even approach. He took time to really envision the new spaces and explain the pros and cons of remodeling the existing spaces. We spent a few months going back and forth on designs and he never once balked at all the "changes" we requested. His pricing is excellent and the turnaround at producing and updating the drawings even better. “Alethea is amazing! She was an integral part of the team when we remodeled our entire basement, renovated our kitchen and added a large porch in the front of our home. She was the key person to help select all of the interior selections and after the work was completed, assisted in the interior furnishings as well. We did a second project with her as well. We added a laundry room that is the envy of my neighborhood. She designed and drew up all of the plans and worked well with all of the subs. Many friends have seen her work in my home and have hired her as well- both to help in structural changes as well as interior work. They all have been happy. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is true to her word, very organized and keeps you informed throughout the project. These are rare qualities. I am happy to talk with anyone who has any questions. Thanks!”

“We hired Andre' to design and do all the architectural work for our new home in Excelsior, MN. After meeting with numerous architects and builders, we decided that Andre' and Kurt Schwartz (Builder) were the best fit for us. After several meetings to discuss our vision we filled out an in depth Master Vision questionnaire and provided Andre' and Kurt our login to houzz.com so they could see what we liked about certain houses, rooms, colors, textures and finishes. When you combine the Master Vision questionnaire along with our houzz.com pictures, you get a pretty good feel for what we wanted in our new home. We think Andre' did an exceptional job of listening to what we wanted and going through all of the information we provided to create a remarkable home that we love! Between Andre' and Kurt Schwartz Builders they really did a great job of taking our vision and making it a reality.
