She was the key person to help select all of the interior selections and after the work was completed, assisted in the interior furnishings as well. We did a second project with her as well. We added a laundry room that is the envy of my neighborhood. She designed and drew up all of the plans and worked well with all of the subs. “I hired Hart's Design to design an addition to my home in Edina. This included a garage, workshop, master bath, roof deck, laundry/mudroom expansion. sunroom, and kitchen expansion. Admittedly, I am a very particular/difficult client. Generally, I am not satisfied with anyone I hire and usually consider it successful if the interaction does not end in the exchange of profanity. I know this about myself and tell people this prior to working with them. I have never offered to serve as a reference for any contractor or designer in the past. Robert was excellent. “My husband and I knew after our first meeting with Jesse that he was the right person for our project. He completely understood the concept of what we wanted our house to look like and how we wanted it to function and that our goal was to remodel the entire house plus add an addition that would allow us to fully enjoy our dream of living on a lake. Depending on the space he was designing (ie Bathroom, kitchen) he would provide us with 2 or 3 options and was always willing to talk through each one the ideas. Throughout the entire construction Jesse was very hands on and we had great two way open communication about all aspects of the design. He listened to all the different idea's that we had and worked to incorporate them in the house and in most cases came up with something even better. He always made himself available to us if there were ever any questions we had about the design or changes we thought we wanted to make. Most people don't realize that their voices carry on the lake so it's fun when we are sitting outside enjoying the lake and listening to the compliments we get about the aesthetic of the house. I've heard many people say that the 3rd house you build will be perfect, and after living in our house over 1 year there is nothing I would change.
