“My husband and I live in a beautiful location on the Haw River and wanted to remodel part of our home to take advantage of the views and river access. We entertain frequently and wanted more room in the right places and also good flow from room to room. I am an artist, and my husband enjoys woodworking. We wanted spaces that reinforced our aspirations. We decided to add a den with a wood stove, a screened in porch with cat walk to our large back deck, a new kitchen, an art studio, and a workshop. There were significant cost overruns, but this is because we were so happy with what we saw happening, we asked for more and more. We are thrilled with the outcome.
