The Galeana Group
This bathroom is situated between two bedrooms in 1920s mansion in the heart of one of San Antonio, Texas' most important historic districts. The design was created for a teenage girl (hence the subtle touches of pink), but it's historically relevant and classic design makes it appropriate for anyone. The beauty of this project is that the space looks clean and updated, but also looks like it could've been original to the house.
This project was designed and contracted by Galeana Younger. Photo by Mark Menjivar.

The walnut cabinets add a sophisticated warmth to this neutral bathroom. We also love the rounded sink which could be matched with a similar shaped bath in a bigger space. The lighting creates a soft glow which is perfect for a bathroom.

The compact but bright bathroom utilizes floor to ceiling oversized subway tiles in a stacked pattern to emphasize the height of the space. The continuation of the bright white color scheme brings a feeling of spaciousness to the diminutive room.

Avec Interiors
Avec Interiors, together with our valued client and builder partner 5blox, rejuvenates a dated and narrow and poorly functioning 90s bathroom. The project culminates in a tranquil sanctuary that epitomizes quiet luxury. The redesign features a custom oak vanity with an integrated hamper and extensive storage, polished nickel finishes, and artfully placed decorative wall niches. Functional elements harmoniously blend with aesthetic details, such as the captivating blue-green shower tile and the charming mini stars and cross tiles adorning both the floor and niches.
Sublime Spaces
Family bathroom in a colour palette consistent with the rest of the house. Same penny round tiles used in the kitchen splashback, but with a grey grout. Back to wall bath tub abd frameless shower. Neutral colours with a pop of greenery.
FOUR POINT DESIGN BUILD INC
Selected as one of four designers to the prestigious DXV Design Panel to design a space for their 2018-2020 national ad campaign || Inspired by 21st Century black & white architectural/interior photography, in collaboration with DXV, we created a healing space where light and shadow could dance throughout the day and night to reveal stunning shapes and shadows. With retractable clear skylights and frame-less windows that slice through strong architectural planes, a seemingly static white space becomes a dramatic yet serene hypnotic playground; igniting a new relationship with the sun and moon each day by harnessing their energy and color story. Seamlessly installed earthy toned teak reclaimed plank floors provide a durable grounded flow from bath to shower to lounge. The juxtaposition of vertical and horizontal layers of neutral lines, bold shapes and organic materials, inspires a relaxing, exciting, restorative daily destination.
