The yard originally sloped down from the bumped out kitchen to a walkout basement door around the left side. Construction included forming and pouring an integrated support footer and wall, filling and raising the grade approx. 9 feet to support the spa and flat patio as designed. Many many hours of engineering and discussion went into this project and we loved every minute of this challenging and complex design. Building it was just the icing on the cake!
