It started with a broken stove and ended with a two hundred and sixty thousand dollar renovation! Martin and Teresa tried replacing the stove in their 1930’s clinker brick house but new models wouldn’t fit the allotted space, so after cooking outside on the barbie for months they’ve finally committed themselves to a long overdue renovation. With winter approaching they need to be cooking inside ASAP but the bitsy floor plan doesn’t function for family of 5 so this is no easy paint and decorate job. Free space has to come from somewhere as their oldest son James has been stuck in a windowless bedroom for some time. With a style guide of French Provincial and a couple prepared to be bold, Shaynna, Yas and Mike can throw themselves into both the practicalities and aesthetics of this re-build with full gusto!

This bookshelf unit is really classy and sets a good standard for the rest of the house. The client requested a primed finish to be hand-painted in-situ. All of our finished are done in the workshop, hence the bespoke panels and furniture you see in the pictures is not at its best. However, it should give an idea of our capacity to produce an outstanding work and quality.

The architectural ornamentation, gabled roofs, new tower addition and stained glass windows on this stunning Victorian home are equally functional and decorative. Dating to the 1600’s, the original structure was significantly renovated during the Victorian era. The homeowners wanted to revive the elegance and detail from its historic heyday. The new tower addition features a modernized mansard roof and houses a new living room and master bedroom. Rosette details from existing interior paneling were used throughout the design, bringing cohesiveness to the interior and exterior. Ornate historic door hardware was saved and restored from the original home, and existing stained glass windows were restored and used as the inspiration for a new stained glass piece in the new stairway. Standing at the ocean’s edge, this home has been brought to renewed glory and stands as a show piece of Victorian architectural ideals.
