Erica Peale DesignThis punchy powder room is the perfect spot to take a risk with bold colors and patterns. In this beautiful renovated Victorian home, we started with an antique piece of furniture, painted a lovely kelly green to serve as the vanity. We paired this with brass accents, a wild wallpaper, and painted all of the trim a coordinating navy blue for a powder room that really pops!
Blue Envelope Designs, LLCDuring the bathroom demolition of this historic home, an exterior brick wall was discovered within the existing interior of the home. History tells that the house was converted into apartments during the war. The door shown in this photo was the actual door encased in this wall when a new indoor-kitchen was added to the home after the war. This was the actual door to an apartment along with the outline of the once-exterior staircase leading up to the next apartment. Guest Bath and Powder Room Remodel in Historic Victorian Home. Original wood flooring in the main hallway was custom-matched to continue the beautiful floors and flow of the home. Hand-Painted Sheryl Wagner pedestal sink and matching hand-painted faucets. Wallpaper reflections of tree limbs appear and disappear depending on the lighting throughout the space.

Dawn JacksonAttic space converted to bath. The realtor wanted me to tile the floor. I adamantly argued against the idea and instead refinished the awesome original pine wood floors after removing some boards and running the plumbing for the new fixtures. After sanding, I finished it with clear satin polyurethane.
Erin DiFazioThis antique sewing table was purchased at a yard sale about a block from the property. The original sewing machine is now displayed on the bathroom loft above the closet. It was exciting to repurpose something local in such a practical but beautiful way.
