Blackline Renovations
The homeowner was used to functioning with a stacked washer and dryer. As part of the primary suite addition and kitchen remodel, we relocated the laundry utilities. The new side-by-side configuration was optimal to create a large folding space for the homeowner.
Now, function and beauty are found in the new laundry room. A neutral black countertop was designed over the washer and dryer, providing a durable folding space. A full-height linen cabinet is utilized for broom/vacuum storage. The hand-painted decorative tile backsplash provides a beautiful focal point while also providing waterproofing for the drip-dry hanging rod. Bright brushed brass hardware pop against the blues used in the space.

This little laundry room uses hidden tricks to modernize and maximize limited space. Between the cabinetry and blue fantasy marble countertop sits a luxuriously tiled backsplash. This beautiful backsplash hides the door to necessary valves, its outline barely visible while allowing easy access.

Laundry Day has never been so exciting! Our client was looking to increase form and functionality in their laundry room, taking it from bare bones to a fully finished space, offering multiple organic and earthy inspired aesthetic moments to be used for styling her work as a gardening influencer as well as practical functionality, storage and organization at home.
To optimize functionality while creating a beautiful and inspiring space, we added storage all around, including lower cabinets and open shelving and upper cabinets to the ceiling, a gorgeous new vintage inspired sink grounded with decorative tonal backsplash, additional lighting, butcher block counter(s), a shelf framing the washer/dryer, and a hanging bar for drying..

The stacked washer and dryer are a compact solution for a tight space. The heat pump dryer us ductless, saving energy and money.

For this new family home in the rural area of Murrumbateman NSW, the interior design aesthetic was an earthy palette, incorporating soft patterns, stone cladding and warmth through timber finishes. For these empty nesters, simple and classic was key to be able to incorporate their collection of pre-loved furniture pieces and create a home for their children and grandchildren to enjoy.
