Pro-Land Landscape Construction Inc.This family wanted to create a functional space in their smaller backyard. Our challenge was to create a space that still felt spacious but was functional for their lifestyle. Their pool patio has enough room for loungers and space for kids to jump into the deep end. Building it against the deck saved space and created the perfect opportunity for a water feature. Their deck was really the main area of entertainment. Glass rails create a visually larger space, and the kitchen brings the party outside.

Amber Freda Garden DesignThis TriBeCa rooftop garden was not very inviting when we first laid eyes on its black tar surface and neglected planters. Our makeover redesign included brown bamboo fencing, artificial turf, custom bench seating, outdoor rugs, and lush new plantings. The planters are a mix of ceramic and fiberglass pots. Plantings include maiden grasses, a hydrangea tree, a purple smoke bush, purple coneflowers, and yellow thread-leaf coreopsis. Artificial turf has come a long way and is now available in very high quality versions like this that mimic real grass perfectly. It’s also easy to clean with a hose, a scrub brush, and an outdoor vacuum cleaner. See more of our projects at www.amberfreda.com.
Carlton EdwardsHere there is a step down via limestone steps into a sunken garden beside the pool and an outdoor seating area with a fire pit as its focal point. The fire pit is CorTen steel.
That seating area is flanked with oak leaf hydrangeas, arborvitae, and autumn fern, another Japanese maple that was relocated into a large steel CorTen, a steel planter Carlton Edwards designed. Along the northern property line in front of an existing fence, European Columnar Hornbeams were placed to provide a vertical hedge and to offer privacy from the adjoining neighbor and second-story addition on the rear of that home.
There's also a cedar boardwalk that connects the central lawn area to a sunroom on the side of the house. The Hornbeams are underplanted with Big Blue Liriope. This design maximized the potential for the whole property.
SimetrikaEn el exterior de esta vivienda se realizó una gran obra de acondicionamiento para disfrutarlo con la próxima primavera. Una gran pérgola de madera donde colocar una mesa y mobiliario de jardín en un suelo de madera específica de exterior, resistente a todas las estaciones del año.
La piscina dispone de zonas de cesped artificial para disfrutar del sol durante el día e iluminación a su alrededor para hacerlo por la noche.
Todo ello en un mismo nivel para apreciar la totalidad del jardín desde el interior de la vivienda.
