This luxury master bathroom was created by taking the original builder grade design down to the studs, and reconfiguring the space plan to allow for this generous glass shower, freestanding tub and oversized double vanity. The aesthetic is rooted in classical design but has elements of contemporary flair, including the vivid aqua walls and quartz solid surface countertop and shower accents. Many hours were spent planning every detail, from the tile selections all the way down to the width of sconces needed to create this flawless design. This is truly one of the most beautiful bathrooms in Wichita.

Before the remodel, this was a t typical 1950's hall bath with tub and small vanity with formica counters. We replaced it with a contemporary bath in southing blues, aquas, grey and white. The countertop is BioGlass -- recycled, fused glass countertop, large above counter sink, and triple medicine cabinet. Custom alder floating cabinets span the length of the wall. The 4x12 glass tile is is graduated vertically in color from dark aqua to light blue. With a row of 1x4 dark aqua tile on the floor under the floating vanity.

A spacious walk-in shower, complete with a beautiful bench. Lots of natural light through a beautiful window, creating an invigorating atmosphere. The custom niche adds functionality and style, keeping essentials organized.
NICHEdg
The clean lines and nickel finishes work beautifully alongside the teak cabinet, glass and marble tiles. The circular mirror softens the lines throughout.
A plant adds texture and breathes life into the bathroom design.

Let's Remodel
In this space, we updated the master bathroom by taking out the previous wallpaper to a cool grey toned paint. Opening up the once cave like shower to a new bright and open enclosure. By opening up the shower, this bathroom feels bigger and brighter. We added in a strip of blue tile in the shower and the niche to bring in more color to the space.

SeaThru is a new, waterfront, modern home. SeaThru was inspired by the mid-century modern homes from our area, known as the Sarasota School of Architecture.
This homes designed to offer more than the standard, ubiquitous rear-yard waterfront outdoor space. A central courtyard offer the residents a respite from the heat that accompanies west sun, and creates a gorgeous intermediate view fro guest staying in the semi-attached guest suite, who can actually SEE THROUGH the main living space and enjoy the bay views.
Noble materials such as stone cladding, oak floors, composite wood louver screens and generous amounts of glass lend to a relaxed, warm-contemporary feeling not typically common to these types of homes.
