Relooking d'une chambre en un bureau chic et féminin Sur ce projet, ma cliente m'a donné carte blanche, seul impératif pour son bureau de télétravail: un grand canapé confortable Partant de celui ci, j'ai imaginée une décoration très féminine et cosy Les murs ont été travaillés en color zoning afin de délimiter les espaces, dans un gris anthracite et une joli rose poudré Le bureau a été créé sur mesure, avec un plateau de chêne massif, et un rappel de ce matériau avec les étagères, qui donnent un côté très déco. Le canapé d'angle très confortable rose poudré est mis en valeur par le mur gris et le tapis graphique . J'ai fait le choix d'intégrer des stores vénitiens en bois pour rappel des détails du bureau La chaise de bureau quant à elle, a été choisie pour son design et son confort Vous avez un projet de décoration? Previously an unused store room, we converted the space into a home office for our client ensuring it was a warm, happy and inviting space to work in. Soane Britain Seaweed Lace wallpaper lines the walls, traditional plaster cornice and tall timber skirtings were reinstated to bring back the character of the room. New cast iron radiator in pink to match the woodwork installed. Pure wool cream carpet for warmth underfoot. Bespoke oak desk lines the perimeter of the walls with bobbin turned legs and bespoke shelves built into a recess in the wall provide ample storage and work surface for a comfortable office

A busy working mother’s dark and dismal home office is transformed into a lively and inviting sanctuary. Dated, stained wood shelves are painted a flirtatious pale pink. The ceiling is emboldened with unexpected, outsized floral blossom wallpaper in provocative shades of fuchsia and violet. Oak floors are refinished and topped with an acid washed cow hide rug. Walls are swathed in multiple layers of pastel paint, mimicking grass cloth to add texture and interest. Books are obviously going to feature heavily in your home library design, and you’ll need a place to store them. A bookcase or nice shelving can create room dividers if you don’t have a whole room to dedicate to a home library, and the benefit of bookcases is that they are movable – you don’t have to stick with one layout it it’s not working. If you don’t want to take up space, shelves hung on the walls will work just as well, and if you really want that authentic library feel then you’ll have to go with built in bookshelves that stretch from floor to ceiling. Next all you need is a comfy chair in amongst the books or a desk if you plan to do work or study from your library. Remember that traditional library areas can be slotted in all around the home – under the stairs, in a corner of your living room or kitchen, as a mezzanine or in a small spare room.
