Amber Freda Garden Design
These East Village terraces were inspired by the lush, romantic feel of the Mediterranean. We used a combination of wood and terra cotta planters filled with an abundant mix flowering vines, annuals, perennials, and trees. To help soften a large brick wall on one side, we used wood planters with built-in trellises to grow flowering vines such as climbing hydrangeas, clematis, and mandevilla. PPG PROLUXE Wood Finishes
PPG Wood Finishes brings out the natural beauty of exterior wood. This northern home and staircase are protected from the elements. The boulder wall covered in greenery serves as a foundation and edging for the deck. This combination of rock, wood, metal, and glass blends together for a modern success.

'Patio' tomatoes, basil, and parsley form the centerpieces of these three planters. Flowers accent the front. Learn how to grow easy vegetables that look great on your patio from the book "Easy Container Combos: Vegetables & Flowers." See a free, 24 page sample of the book at www.pamela-crawford.com. in the 'Books' section. Pamela Crawford designed and photographed the planter. Pamela designs landscapes throughout Palm Beach County, FL, including Boca Raton, Delray Beach, the town of Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, and Wellington.

On top of the hill, a raised deck was created for outdoor dining. We are fortunate in Southern California to have beautiful weather year round, which makes dining al fresco a pleasure. Here, you can imagine yourself enjoying dinner from your new kitchen.

Every home or business can use a little color. Adding pops of annual flower color in containers allows you to change it every season, try different things and have fun with color. It's our favorite way to add big statements to a project. Once the plants fill in over a few weeks, the planters become overflowing with color.
