The original boathouse was built in 1906 but burned down in 2012 and was rebuilt. The flooring upstairs is made from the beams that used to hold up the 2nd floor. It was 100 year old wood preserved by water. This covered porch features knotty cedar soffit and factory stained Western Red Cedar Shingles. The Adirondack Chair was built using a tree stump cut into quarters to create a stable base. Douglas Fir timbers and custom made Corbels frame this rustic setting. ********************************************************************* Buffalo Lumber specializes in Custom Milled, Factory Finished Wood Siding and Paneling. A complete home renovation in the heart of Hood River, OR. New owners worked with Oregon Finish Carpentry, Inc. to breath new life into this old home. We prioritized durability, craftsmanship and charm, and created a heritage home to be passed down through generations. The open main level creates a great space for family to come together. The unique split-level design on the upper floors allows for separate bedroom and bathroom spaces for privacy at the end of the day. This home features two master suites, an art studio, and custom craftsmanship throughout.

Riverbend's main house features a double-height glazed entry that projects toward the driveway approach. The large expanses of cedar siding are interrupted with vertical cedar fins that add texture and shadows, which change throughout the day. Residential architecture by CLB in Jackson, Wyoming – Bozeman, Montana.
