The design challenge was to create a covered portico to protect their guests and the front door from the elements as well as to create a visually pleasing and important feature on the front of the home. Classical elements were chosen with Doric columns and pilaster's with a radial segmented pediment. These photos were taken 15 years after the completion of the work! Photographer: Craig Cernek

Archadeck of Central South Carolina
Archadeck of Central SC made a good patio into a great patio by screening it in using an aluminum and vinyl screening system. The patio was already protected above, but now these clients and their guests will never be driven indoors by biting insects. They now have a beautiful screened room in which to relax and entertain.

What’s the difference between our 3-season porches and 4 season rooms? The latter are considered permanent additional living space and usually require construction which compromises the open outdoor feeling. This adds considerable cost and because they are considered a permanent addition could increase your property taxes as well.
