LandArtThis garden design in Castleknock was transformed from the typical dull garden, that comes with all new builds in housing estates these days, into a contemporary oasis.
Our client wanted to enjoy her garden from morning sunrise right through to sunset, so we designed two patios, positioned to get the full benefit of the sun throughout the day.
Like most new builds in housing estates, the garden and kitchen of the house are quite overlooked from the terrace of houses to the rear. For more privacy we incorporated a ‘Hedge in the Sky’ of evergreen Espalier Elaeagnus. We also made sure that there were generous planting areas left along all borders and that the lawn was framed with porcelain strips, for effortless lawn maintenance. Stepping stone pavers create an elegant design element in the small garden, guiding the way to the shed.

Des fleurs à couleurs complémentaires envoient une invitation au "carpe diem", en tant qu'expressions éphémères d'une beauté intemporelle.
Outre son effet apaisant, la pièce d'eau sert d'écran acoustique par rapport au contexte urbain environnant. L'attention portée aux détails et les contours inattendus font de ce jardin à la fois une peinture à contempler et un espace pour des fêtes intimes.
Högadals TrädgårdarKunden var inte nöjd med sin entrérabatt. Den kändes rörig och ostrukturerad. Där fanns mycket blommor, några hon tyckte om och några hon inte ville ha kvar. Jag fick i uppdrag att göra en ny växtkomposition. Några växter sparades, några flyttades och några adderades. Resultatet blev en långblommande rabatt som blommar i mycket blått i maj-juni för att sedan gå över till mer rosa och vinröda toner i augusti-september.
