This house design was inspired by the 19th century style farm houses that are scattered about the flat open farmland of Eastern Shore, Virginia. The building site for this project was on a waterfront peninsula that made it picturesque as well as historical version of a bygone era. Versions of this house and others like it can be found on downhomeplans.com

Washington Valley Cellars
Immediately to the right when you enter into the room, we have constructed a magnum display rack. Each of the rows holds 4 bottles wide and 2 bottles deep per shelf. The spacing enables you to "show" the labels on the magnums and champagne sized bottles.
Vintage Cellars
A closer look at a display row. Display rows are just one feature Vintage Cellars uses in their custom wine cellar designs. This style of display is very popular in custom wine rooms all across the world. The display keeps the bottle at a 15 degree angle, ensuring that the cork stays moist and that your wine investment stays perfectly corked, humidified and temperature controlled.
This custom wine cellar was specifically designed (side walls) to hold 11 bottles of wine on the bottom and a display row on top. This wine room then has a second display row and 11 bottles above. A custom designed walk in wine cellar such as this allows the customer to diplay a bottle and unload the case either above or below that display row. The wood species inside this beautiful small wine room is distressed and weathered redwood, with features including wine case storage, diamond bins, and high reveal wine bottle display. A small rustic wine cellar is the perfect addition to any home! This custom design turned a low key closet into a work of art.
