The clients were updating the interior of their home when they hired Pro-Land to start their design. They wanted a contemporary look for their landscape, with a monochromatic colour scheme and dark accents to make a statement. The pool was the feature of the space, which was centered on the house so from the inside looking out, you'd see the bright blue water. Surrounding the pool we created space for an outdoor kitchen, dining, water feature and a deck/lounge space. The deck was constructed in the corner of the lot to break up the interlock, privacy screens anchor the space and give it a feeling of intimacy. Effie Edits Inc.

The interior is sleek and stylish, and is equipped with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your glamping experience to the full. Facilities include: fully fitted kitchen with oven/hob/microwave/fridge-freezer; shower room with wc & washbasin; bedroom with cosy double bed; dining area; living area with comfy sofas and flat-screen TV/DVD; i-pod/i-phone docking station, CD player with surround-sound stereo; Wi-Fi internet access; and air con and heating. But perhaps the 'cherry on the cake' is the outdoor plunge pool - the ultimate in glamorous camping!! Laying in the pool or next to it on a warm summer's night as you gaze at the stars is a memory which is sure to remain.. The airstream is perfectly suited both for singles and couples - and provides the ideal setting for romantic or solitary retreat. The surrounding scenery is stunning, and there are plenty of nature trails and treks to be explored. Owner Trevor lives close by, and is always happy to lend a hand with trip planning and advice etc. A 20 minute walk down the mountain track will lead to the nearby village of 'Alozaina' - a typically Spanish 'pueblo blanco' which has retained much of its rustic charm. Life is slow here, and not to be rushed! There are several tapas bars, cafes, and a couple of decent restaurants, as well shops and even a small supermarket. Further afield, there is much to explore. Nearby excursions include the historical town of Ronda - and the oldest bullring in Spain, the elegant city of Malaga, Seville, Marbella & jet-setting Puerto Banus, and the picturesque 'pueblo blanco' of Ojen. Car hire is essential in order to fully enjoy the area. If you have any questions about the glamping experience, or the airstream itself - please ask. I have a good knowledge of the local area, and a deep love for the mountain - affectionately known to the locals as 'magic mountain'! Our garden sheds and outdoor buildings don’t have to be dumping grounds for tools, bikes, bins and all the extraneous items that haven’t found a home inside the house, instead they can be whole new spaces that you can turn your design eye to, just like any other room of the house. If you’ve lived in a small house or flat with no outside space, you’ll appreciate the added bonus an additional structure can give you. Homeowners across the UK and Ireland are transforming garden sheds, building garden offices and extending their homes to create garden rooms to really make the most of the space we have, because as we know, in some places in the UK and Ireland, space is like gold dust.

Which garden building should I go for?

It always makes sense to work with what you have, so if you have a garden shed already, think about how you could use it if you cleared it out and gave it a lick of paint. If you have nothing to work with apart from space and a budget, then the logical process is to think about what you need the space for. Garden sheds only need to be as big as what you need to store within them, so they could be an easier and cheaper alternative structure to a full garden building if you just need to store garden items, tools and bikes somewhere. If you have loftier ambitions and dream of a garden building that will be an additional living or working area, a separate garden room could be the answer. Large converted garden sheds or purpose built garden rooms can be used for separate work offices, studios, creative spaces, living areas, pool houses and so much more. With luxuries such as wireless internet and underfloor heating, and endless paint and decor options, the possibilities for your garden building are boundless. For the environmentally-conscious, eco-sheds featuring solar panels are an energy-saving solution that could benefit your household, and garden pods – prefabricated pod buildings for use as an office or extra living space – are easy, ready-to-go garden structures that are usually eco-friendly and energy efficient. Working from home often calls for a dedicated home office away from the distractions of the rest of the house, so garden offices or studios offer the ideal set-up: completely separate from the main house but close enough for emergencies, food supplies and bathroom breaks.
