Boodle Concepts
Garden design & landscape construction in Melbourne by Boodle Concepts. Project in Reservoir, featuring water-wise Australian native plants, permeable paving. Vertical mesh cladding becomes a growing trellis to visually soften the shed structure. Mesh theme is continued with construction of the outdoor bench seat (gabion style).
The Bruce Company
We turned this underused patch of lawn into in intimate patio space for the owners of this historic housing cooperative.
Colm Joseph Gardens
A bespoke water feature design integrates with the corten steel louvres of the house extension. The water feature, and the planting beside it, is positioned in close proximity to the glazed extension to bring the garden into the house.
The internal concrete flooring is continued outside. To complement our paving design, we also designed a modernist concrete dining table and benches tailored to the space.
The garden design softens the building with the introduction of lush, naturalistic planting and a bespoke water feature.

Colm Joseph Gardens
This contemporary garden creates a relaxed and natural living space in this new-build Cambridge home.
Planting close to the glazed elevation of the modern architecture blurs the boundaries between house, garden and landscape, integrating the client’s daily experience of all three. The transition from house into garden is immediate, creating a feeling of stepping directly into the landscape.
Seasonal transformations are emphasised and celebrated through naturalistic planting. Alongside this, a simple, restrained palette of limestone hard landscaping provides a crisp counterpoint to the loose planting.
The bespoke limestone and steel table and benches, designed by Colm Joseph, offer a perfect spot to relax amongst the soft planting. A large boulder seat provides an additional spot to perch, doubling up as a natural bird bath in this wildlife friendly garden.
