This Seaside remodel meant a lot to us because we originally built the house in 1987 with some dear friends of ours. Ty Nunn with florida haus and the team at Urban Grace Interiors designed a remodel to accommodate the new owner's growing family, and we're proud of the results! Photos by Eric Marcus Studio

Because the location is in the middle of a 38 acre Texas ranch, curtains are optional. Instead, sturdy bars have been installed to make getting in and out of the antique claw foot bath safe and easy. Large windows and white wood walls give a light and airy look

We turned our other bathroom into a replica of the foyer of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion—or at least what the powder room off that foyer would look like if there were one! Submersive Bath Western Mass Builder: Woody Pistrich Design team: Natalie Leighton photographs: Tim Hess This multi-leveled bathroom has a tub three and a half feet lower than the first floor. The space has been organized to create a progressive journey from the upper wash area, to the lower tub space. The heated stairs, tub slab and green sea tile that wraps around the entire room was inspired by the progressive immersion of the Turkish baths.

The owners of this Victorian terrace were recently retired and wanted to update their home so that they could continue to live there well into their retirement, so much of the work was focused on future proofing and making rooms more functional and accessible for them. We replaced the kitchen and bathroom, updated the bedroom and redecorated the rest of the house.
