Small Bathroom with an Integrated Sink Ideas and Designs

Dark tones make a space look smaller and lighter tones make it look bigger. However, reflective dark surfaces with a variation of tone create a sense of depth. Well though out black schemes can feel more spacious then pale schemes. Black schemes work better in electric light so a bathroom with no natural light can be dramatic. The master en-suite bathroom features a bespoke graphite colour sink in recycled glass lit from within with LED lighting fitted with bespoke chrome and black onyx taps above a black lacquered vanity unit. The wall behind the wash basin is clad with bespoke carved wooden panels with Art Décor detail. Textured grey/black mosaic tiles in the shower complement the grey silver floor tiles.

Charming and pink - powder baths are a great place to add a spark of unexpected character. Our design for this tiny Berlin Altbau powder bathroom was inspired from the pink glass border in its vintage window. It includes Kristy Kropat Design “Blooming Dots” wallpaper in the “emerald rose” custom color-way.

Manuel Pinilla acomete la reforma integral de una vivienda en el barrio sevillano de Nervión. Se trata de una casa pareada de los años 60 del arquitecto Ricardo Espiau con ciertos rasgos regionalistas que se han mantenido a pesar de las intervenciones que ha sufrido con el tiempo, incluyendo un anexo añadido al fondo de la parcela. Pinilla decide redistribuir la planta alta para conseguir dos baños donde había uno y dejar el suelo de esta planta al mismo nivel eliminando los escalones existentes.

In an investment unit there is a simple '3 part rule' for bathrooms: Keep it SIMPLE, Keep it MODERN, Keep it CLEAN. This bathroom isn't large, but it feels spacious and most importantly, clean. In March 2017 I was approached by a couple who had recently purchased a property in Lowther Village, a conservation village on the edge of the Lowther Castle estate. The property needed completely refurbishing before it could be used as a second home and holiday let. The property is grade II* listed and in addition to designing and project managing the refurbishment I obtained the listed building consent on their behalf. The application was submitted in May 2017 and approved at the end of July 2017. Work was completed in October 2017 and the property is now available for rental via Cumbrian Cottages.
