Another view of the upper patio with Sonoma fieldstone and blue stone circular bench that serves as a retaining wall and provides ample seating for visitors. Shanti means ‘Peace' in Sanskrit and this garden, with its series of lush, elegant and surprising garden ‘rooms' lives up to its name. While each room has its own unique feel from a formal walking garden to an exuberant butterfly garden, they all offer the visitor tranquility. All are punctuated by superb stonework and elegant and unique plantings. You will find very little lawn here and instead find flowering shrubs, trees, perennials, grasses, and even unusual and striking annuals planted to delight human and butterfly visitors. This exquisite garden is the result of a close working and personal relationship between the owners and the garden's designer: together they have created a year-round living work of art. A pondless waterfall stream and winding path was installed on the hillside. A small viewing area complete with a bench allows you to sit and relax after a hard days work.

TimberTown
Built at the Heart of Georgia Tech's gorgeous campus – the student center is a gathering place for all. When the outdoor area needed a facelift, Yonah Mountain Timber Frames' team were brought in… Kebony (a modified wood product) was used to build the boardwalks, bridges, and benches throughout this community space. Naturally greyed over time, this patina boardwalk maintains the same structural durability as traditional hardwoods even though it is a thermally modified Softwood.
