This light and bright bathroom was transformed from it's previously dated state. An awkward jacuzzi tub and a glass block wall were removed and 80s era tile was replaced with Carrara mosaic on the floor and Carrara stone in the shower. A large opaque window brings in light but allows privacy.

Capturing a blend of modern and organic, this bathroom showcases a tranquil interplay between smooth wooden panels and rustic stone textures. The minimalist basin, elegantly resting on a marble shelf, is accentuated by the sleek black faucet, mirroring the sophistication of contemporary design. The use of muted tones complements the overall serene ambiance, making it a perfect retreat for relaxation.
Design Element
Combining classic charms with modern features, the elegant Milano Vanity Collection by Design Element will instantly transform your bathroom into a work of art. All Milano vanity cabinets are constructed from solid birch hardwood and paired with a 1-inch thick seamless Carrara White Marble countertop and backsplash from Italy that are cut from a single slab. Soft closing doors and drawers provide smooth and quiet operations, while brushed finished metal hardware provides the perfect finishing touch. Other fine details include white porcelain sinks with overflow, dovetail joint drawer construction, predrilled holes to accommodate 8-inch widespread faucets, and multi-layer paint finish on the cabinets provide beauty and durability for years to come.

Our clients wanted a REAL master bathroom with enough space for both of them to be in there at the same time. Their house, built in the 1940’s, still had plenty of the original charm, but also had plenty of its original tiny spaces that just aren’t very functional for modern life.
The original bathroom had a tiny stall shower, and just a single vanity with very limited storage and counter space. Not to mention kitschy pink subway tile on every wall. With some creative reconfiguring, we were able to reclaim about 25 square feet of space from the bedroom. Which gave us the space we needed to introduce a double vanity with plenty of storage, and a HUGE walk-in shower that spans the entire length of the new bathroom!
While we knew we needed to stay true to the original character of the house, we also wanted to bring in some modern flair! Pairing strong graphic floor tile with some subtle (and not so subtle) green tones gave us the perfect blend of classic sophistication with a modern glow up.
Our clients were thrilled with the look of their new space, and were even happier about how large and open it now feels!

A classic blue and white color scheme with a modern twist! Large blue subway tiles are paired with marble looking hexagon porcelain tiles. The seamless shower makes bathing easily accessible. The large niche and floating shelf add lots of storage space. The freestanding vanity features under cabinet lighting, coupled with a round mirror and stunning blue vessel sink, creates a modern feel to a classic bathroom.
