Judith Wright DesignA guest bath in a vintage home is updated with classic blue and white Carrara Marble surfaces. An awkwardly placed jetted tub is replaced with a walk in shower and tiled in Blue Carrara Marble. The custom designed marble vanity complements the formality and charm of the home. Aged mirrored sconces , a gracefully shaped mirror and luxurious Polished Nickel plumbing fixtures add to the old-fashioned inviting elegance.
The homeowners now enjoy their favorite color in a stunning setting. They chose the original oil painting to complement the palette and are absolutely thrilled with this "Classic Beauty".
Lindy Design BuildThis little bathroom was also in need of an update. We had a custom door made to match the existing doors in the home and added porcelain doorknobs that feel right at home. We added a pattern tile to the floor for a little interest but kept the rest of the finishes simple with off whites and deep blues that harmonize nicely in the space.
Cabinet-S-TopIn this guest bathroom Medallion Cabinetry in the Maple Bella Biscotti Door Style Vanity with Cambria Montgomery Quartz countertop with 4” high backsplash was installed. The vanity is accented with Amerock Blackrock pulls and knobs. The shower tile is 8” HexArt Deco Turquoise Hexagon Matte tile for the back shower wall and back of the niche. The shower walls and niche sides feature 4”x16” Ice White Glossy subway tile. Cardinal Shower Heavy Swing Door. Coordinating 8” HexArt Turquoise 8” Hexagon Matte Porcelain tile for the bath floor. Mitzi Angle 15” Polished Nickel wall sconces were installed above the vanity. Native Trails Trough sink in Pearl. Moen Genta faucet, hand towel bar, and robe hook. Kohler Cimarron two piece toilet.
Hive HomeIn a home with just about 1000 sf our design needed to thoughtful, unlike the recent contractor-grade flip it had recently undergone. For clients who love to cook and entertain we came up with several floor plans and this open layout worked best. We used every inch available to add storage, work surfaces, and even squeezed in a 3/4 bath! Colorful but still soothing, the greens in the kitchen and blues in the bathroom remind us of Big Sur, and the nod to mid-century perfectly suits the home and it's new owners.
