Key design elements of this design include a light well, the design of central circulation, a stepped courtyard and the connection of exterior with interior. The light well pours natural light from skylight of an elevated roof illuminating entire floor while the central stair well delivers the light down to the basement. The design of this central feature frames the minimalist landscape designed outside bringing a sense of serenity in the interior and it also serves as a visual connection with the basement.
