We were asked to help transform a cluttered, half-finished common area to an organized, multi-functional homework/play/lounge space for this family of six. They were so pleased with the desk setup for the kids, that we created a similar workspace for their office. In the midst of designing these living areas, they had a leak in their kitchen, so we jumped at the opportunity to give them a brand new one. This project was a true collaboration between owner and designer, as it was done completely remotely.

This den expertly hides a storage closet masked by textured wall covering. A modern sleeper sofa doubles for a guestroom. The large entry can be closed off with a five foot barn door.

Here is the inside of the curved window set we saw out front. This is an inspiring home office space meant to help the homeowner be as productive as possible. We wanted this room to blend in with the nature outside and create a seamless indoor/outdoor transition since to many people like to work outdoors if possible. We choose a pendant light that is large enough to fill the space, but isn't visually distracting.
