Our clients purchased their home with no custom upgrades... this was the perfect blank canvas for our team to get started.
Traditional elements and heavily carved moldings are some of the details found in the first floor. We chose cozy fabrics and furniture to accommodate this family of four.
The master bed room suite has a bit of a transitional feel... the custom furniture pieces here are more clean and streamlined.
We achieve added interest and texture with the use of different hardwood finishes. The master bedroom floor is a blonde hardwood with large hand knotted area rugs made from wool. An antique trunk at the foot of the bed works perfectly with the mirrored side chest and tall painted armoire.
A modern update in the master bath included a glass enclosure shower with frosted sea glass tiles. Window treatments and accessories complete the rooms for that instant lived in feel. We love it!

A rental property with 110 sq feet is designed to maximize every inch of floor space. Putting the bed on an angle allows access from each side and frees up floor space for the antique rocking chair, bedside table with Victorian phone and small side table. The room also has a light blue painted Victorian bookcase 45" high X 24" wide that was a great flea market find and perfect for collectables and storage. The quilt set adds that extra touch of color and personality to this room. Room is staged to show prospective tenants how they can jazz up their own rental.

My youngest client ever! I met this 4 year old's parents when they had me over to take a look at their on going living room project. After working on a couple of spaces in their West Loop building, they had come to know me and my work. We started, instead, with the daughters room. It was a total blank slate. They parents wanted something girly, but not pink, youthful but not toddler, and vintage but not traditional. I understood exactly what this room needed.

Pineapple Paradise! The pineapple wallpaper is the show stopper in this Hula room designed for a lovely little girl named Phoebe. Our goals were to make a cozy, inviting bedroom that would also be functional and make the most of the small space. The bunk bed with desk below helped create floor space for play and room for art and school. Hula girl bed sheets, tropical print bedding, pineapple wallpaper, and the extra soft floral rug add pops of fun color and cozy throughout. We love features like the palm tree lamp and pineapple mirror. We carried the theme out to the balcony with a fun seating area.
